Welcome to AssetGuard. By subscribing to our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Service Nature (Facilitation Only)

  • AssetGuard is a property assistance and coordination service.
  • We do not act as legal representatives, financial intermediaries, or sub-lessors.

We do not take possession or control of any property.

Asset Guard provides assistance services including:

  • Property inspections
  • Rental assistance
  • Tenant verification support
  • Repair coordination
  • Rent reminder support
  • Photo-based reporting
  • Document and soft-copy sharing

We do NOT:

  • Select tenants on behalf of the owner
  • Handle financial transactions between tenant and owner
  • Guarantee rent or assure tenant behavior
  • Participate in legal disputes
  • Offer legal or financial advice

2. Owner Responsibilities

The property owner is solely responsible for:

  • Selecting and approving the tenant
  • Fixing rent, security deposit, notice period, and all lease terms
  • Verifying tenant documents
  • Handling all financial matters
  • Ensuring compliance with housing or rental laws
  • Giving accurate information to Asset Guard
  • Managing legal issues, compliance, disputes, or defaults

AssetGuard cannot be held liable for any financial, legal, or tenant-related issues.

3. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are the legal owner of the property OR have full authority to manage the property
  • You will provide accurate documentation and information
  • You agree to comply with all applicable local laws

4. Tenant-Related Services

We assist with:

  • Coordinating visits
  • Collecting tenant documents
  • Basic tenant verification inputs

Final approval is always the owner's decision.

5. Financial Transactions

  • Rent and deposits are transferred directly between owner and tenant.
  • If we collect rent on behalf of the owner (in cash), it is purely a convenience service.

6. Property Inspection & Reports

  • Photos and inspection reports are shared as per the subscription plan.
  • Reports are indicative only; AssetGuard is not responsible for undetected damage or future issues.

7. No Legal Liability

AssetGuard is not responsible for:

  • Tenant default or non-payment
  • Property damage
  • Encroachment on open plots
  • Legal disputes between tenant and owner
  • Title, ownership, or compliance issues
  • Mistakes due to incomplete owner instructions
  • Loss, theft, or misuse of documents by third parties

We do not offer legal advice, legal assistance, or legal guarantees.

8. Fees & Payments

  • Subscription fees must be paid in advance.
  • Tenant placement fee is 12 days of rent or ₹10,000 — whichever is higher.
  • Fee once paid is non-refundable.

9. Bill & Tax Assistance

  • We assist with utility bills, maintenance, and property tax payments as per request.
  • All amounts must be transferred to us in advance.
  • Receipts are shared with the owner after payment.

7. Service Timelines

Response timelines (48–72 working hours) may vary based on workload, location, or emergencies.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate services if:

  • Owner provides false information
  • Payments are not made
  • Owner misuses the platform
  • Owner violates any terms

Owners may cancel the service anytime, but fees paid will not be refunded.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on the website.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the local/state laws of the jurisdiction where the company is registered.

11. Disclaimer

By using our services, you agree that AssetGuard is only a facilitator and cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, default, or any kind of disputes.
